Morrissey has canceled his four-date Las Vegas residency at The Wynn just a week before showtime, Rolling Stone reports. The musician cited “unforeseen logistical issues” as the reason for the sudden cancellation.
The former Smiths frontman was set to play four shows at The Wynn’s Encore Theater starting Aug. 14. Ticket buyers were informed via email on Friday that all nights have been wiped. No reason was given as to why Morrissey shut down the Vegas residency outside of the unnamed “logistical issues.”
“Hello, we regret to inform you that Morrissey – Live in Concert, scheduled for August 14, 15, 18, and 19 at Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas, has been canceled,” the email read. “Due to unforeseen logistical issues, the scheduled Las Vegas residency cannot take place.”
The residency has been scrubbed from The Wynn’s website, and a listing on Ticketmaster’s page reads, “Unfortunately, the Event Organizer has had to cancel your event.” Earlier Saturday morning, Morrissey’s website still had the shows listed, but they’ve since been taken down. Morrissey’s next dates include Sept. 19 at Chicago’s Riot Fest, Sept. 22 at Shea’s Buffalo Theatre in Buffalo, N.Y. and Sept. 26 at Brooklyn’s CBGB Festival.
Rolling Stone reported that Morrissey has made a habit of canceling shows, canceling 22 performances and postponing 10 others in 2025 alone. Several of his other cancellations have also had slightly vague explanations, including “reasons completely beyond our control,” “sleep deprivation” and “adverse reaction to a prescription medication.”
Morrissey last performed on Aug. 1 in Portugal.

The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
