Moment Skis Unveils 2026/27 Lineup, Featuring the New Countach Tour

If the marginally shorter days are making you stare longingly at your ski gear in your garage and think “maybe I should get some new sticks this year,” we’ve got great news for you. Reno-based ski brand, Moment Skis has released their 2026/27 lineup. Whether or not you’re already a part of the brand’s cult following or are just looking into them for the first time, they’ve cooked up a few things worth paying attention to.

Moment’s most loved players, like the Deathwish, Wildcat, Countach, and Bella are still in the game. However, a few of their most popular skis have gotten updates, have new specs, or have had new skis added to the line. Here’s the most notable updates to Moment’s 2026/27 skis.

Wildcat 98

• Lengths Available: 164cm, 174cm, 179cm, 184cm, 190cm

The Wildcat 101, which even longer ago was called the PB&J, got another redesign for 26/27. Most notably, the 101mm underfoot waist width was taken down to 98mm underfoot and the rocker lines were lowered a bit. The ski keeps its DNA of a poplar/ash core, which blends a hard/stable wood with playful poplar and the triaxial fiberglass and carbon fiber blend composite layer that provides torsional rigidity and dampening through the ski. However, with the slightly narrower waist and adjusted profile, the new Wildcat 98 has more edge contact, a more robust flex profile, and is a little more precise, quick to engage, and dynamic in those 98mm-underfoot-conditions. The Wildcat 98 is still joined by the Wildcat 108 and 118 in the lineup.

Bella 98

One of Moment’s core women’s-specific skis, the Bella 101, also got a redesign for 2026/27. Like the Wildcat, the Bella 101 got slimmed down to a 98mm underfoot width, had its rocker lowered a bit, and got a slightly tighter sidecut. The Bella has a pine/poplar core, which keeps it nice and light as well as playful and flexible, but has a similar triaxial fiberglass and carbon fiber laminate blend to the Wildcat, to increase torsional rigidity and dampening. Like the Wildcat 98, the updated Bella 98 was also made to stay composed at higher speeds, engage more quickly, and provide confidence on lower-tide days. The Bella 108 rounds out the Bella lineup with the new ski.

Countach 120

• Sidecut: 144mm-120mm-134mm
• Radius: 28.5m (182cm)
• Weight: 2300g (182cm)

Moment decided to beef up their freeride ski lineup by adding the all-new Countach 120 to their 2026/27 collection. Like the rest of the Countach lineup, the new 120 has a poplar/beech core, making for a rigid, damp ski, especially when combined with the triaxial fiberglass/carbon fiber blend used in many other Moment skis. The Countach 120 also uses VDS foil (Vibration Dampening Substrate) strategically placed throughout the ski to further quiet things down. Tip rocker and a longer sidecut keeps the ski floating in deep snow and composed at high speeds. The Countach 120 joins the lineup alongside the Countach 98, 104, and 110.

Countach Tour Series

In addition to the Countach 120, Moment also expanded their tour series to add new versions of the Countach 98, 104, and 110 that have an uphill-optimized construction and give backcountry skiers a more directional ski option than the Wildcat or Deathwish Tours. The Countach tour uses a paulownia/beech core combined with a lightweight version of the triaxial fiberglass/carbon fiber laminate, dubbed the “lowfat layup,” helps to lighten the ski. VDS inserts as well as the beech wood keep the ski damp and fun on the downhill. With three width options, the Countach Tour series has an option for everything from lightweight spring ski missions to deep days in the backcountry.
